Here is another release of series of remixes. This time this time our choice fell on a track “People” by Aantigen. With original track we have got four wonderful and different remixes.
An original track “People” has a deep atmosphere, glitchy voices and gleefully broken drum patterns. Thick rhythm is joined by atmospheric synths, before dense droning chords, wordless vocals and layer upon layer of intricate hand percussion form have a meditation mood for a dance floor. With all those sighing synths and swing bassline, mix of hand percussion and deft keyboard, this track sounds very interesting and bizarre at the same time.
Following on from last remixes of two tracks “Como um Passaro” and “Ruimte”, LetKolben continues the tonal reference to the origins mix of techno and house music in a highly unique style. This time he has made for us a remix of AantiGen’s track “People”. It is driving sequencer synth version, with a massive and melodic workout, with a groove vibe and unbelievable percussion textures that will shake the dance floor for sure.
Next one is Marco Destro with his deep and minimal remix. Jarring kick and percussive rhythm are attack with unrelenting momentum of synth, further tension being built. Like an emotive element is introduced with a hovering yet uncasing pad, Morco’s remix has the unyielding energy present throughout.
Remix by Jeann wrapped and trapped out synths lines set against a groovy and hypnotic background of stripped rhythmic elements. Arpeggiated synths are the driving force, again building while snapping, abrasive percussion shatters the tension and propel the track with deep momentum. Just try it and you will get it.
Augusto Pianta is closing this collection with his remix. Augusto takes a deeper approach and flows us into his sound glides gently with pulsating yet subtle tones used for hypnotic effect as energetic percussion constructs a jacking element to the track. The warm and deep sound is bringing a special feeling to the dance floor.
All remixes are different but will provide the feeling of the approaching summer, which makes this release perfect for the next open air and festival seasons of 2019.
